Saanvi Talwar has once again spoken publicly about an alleged incident that occurred while she was filming the 2015 supernatural musical drama Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum. In a recent interview with Telly Masala, the actress said that during a kissing scene she was kissed by co‑star Karan Kundra before the director’s cue, that she slapped him in response, and that he later slapped her hard, causing her to fall to the ground. Talwar also said the incident left her emotionally exhausted and she considered leaving the industry.

Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum premiered on &TV on 26 October 2015 and ran until 24 August 2016. The series was produced by Balaji Telefilms and starred Kundra as Rahul and Talwar as Maanvi. The show combined supernatural elements with a musical storyline and was part of Balaji’s slate of daily soaps during that period.

Talwar’s account of the incident focuses on a moment when she was preparing for a scripted kiss. She said Kundra kissed her before the director had called for the shot, an action she described as “wrong” because the scene had not yet begun. She then slapped him, after which Kundra returned to the set about ten to fifteen minutes later and slapped her again with a force she said was “too hard,” causing her to fall. Talwar said no crew member or director intervened to support her.

According to Talwar, the episode had a lasting impact. She said she was verbally abused by Kundra, who allegedly used harsh language toward her and her parents. The experience left her depressed and emotionally drained, and she said she considered quitting television altogether.

Talwar also said she sought help from Anusha Dandekar, who was Kundra’s girlfriend at the time. She claimed that Dandekar took her concerns seriously and began visiting the set to monitor the situation. Talwar said that after Dandekar’s involvement, the on‑set environment improved.

Producer Ekta Kapoor reportedly reached out to Talwar after the incident. According to Talwar, Kapoor apologized on Kundra’s behalf and invited her to a private meeting. Kapoor assured Talwar that her concerns would be addressed while emphasizing that the show needed to continue production.

Karan Kundra has not issued a public statement in response to Talwar’s allegations. His fiancée, actress Tejasswi Prakash, has also not commented. Kundra’s most recent public appearance was in the Netflix series Desi Bling, where he proposed to Prakash.

No legal action or formal investigation has been reported in connection with the allegations. The matter remains unresolved, with no statements from Kundra or his representatives.

The allegations have reignited discussion about on‑set conduct and the responsibilities of producers and directors to ensure a safe working environment. As of now, the situation remains pending, with no further developments announced by either party.
