Hollywood Vampires Release Live Album From 2018 Montreux Performance and Launch 2026 European Tour
The release is accompanied by a music video for the first track, “Raise the Dead,” which was posted on the band’s official channels. The video showcases the energy of the 2018 show and serves as a preview of the full live document. The album’s track list includes 18 songs, ranging from early Hollywood Vampires staples such as “I Want My Now” and “I Got a Line on You” to covers of classic rock hits. Notably, the set features a rendition of Motörhead’s “Ace of Spades,” performed as a tribute to the late Lemmy Kilmister. Other covers on the album include “Baba O’Riley,” “Sweet Emotion,” and “School’s Out/Another Brick in the Wall.” The live recording also contains the original song “Raise the Dead,” which was written by Cooper, Depp, Henriksen, and collaborators.
The album will be issued in two physical formats: a two‑CD digisleeve and a three‑LP gatefold. The vinyl edition is a 180‑gram black release, produced under the earMUSIC imprint, which is part of the German media group Edel SE & Co. KGaA.
In addition to the album, Hollywood Vampires will embark on a 2026 European tour that begins on August 12 in London and concludes on September 10 in Łódź, Poland. The tour schedule includes stops in major UK cities—Cardiff, Scarborough, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Colchester, and Halifax—before moving into continental Europe with dates in Nürnberg, Paris, Köln, Hamburg, Milano, Este, Pula, St. Pölten, Praha, and Budapest.
The band’s history dates back to 2015, when they released their self‑titled debut album, which featured a mix of covers and guest musicians. Their second studio effort, Rise, came out in 2019 and added original material to their repertoire. Since then, Hollywood Vampires have become known for high‑energy live performances at festivals and sold‑out tours worldwide.
The Montreux Jazz Festival, held annually in early July on the shores of Lake Geneva, is the world’s second‑largest jazz festival. The 2018 performance that the new album documents was a showcase of the band’s blend of theatrical rock and homage to rock legends. The set was described as a “thunderous celebration of rock history” and highlighted the group’s chemistry.
Fans of the band can pre‑order the album through the official Hollywood Vampires website, where they can also purchase tickets for the upcoming tour. The release is expected to add a new dimension to the band’s catalog, offering a live experience that captures the spirit of their 2018 Montreux show.
In summary, Hollywood Vampires are expanding their discography with a live album that revisits a landmark performance, while simultaneously launching a comprehensive European tour. The album’s digital release on August 7 precedes the physical CD and vinyl launch on October 16, and the tour’s first show in London on August 12 will bring the band’s high‑energy performances to audiences across the UK and Europe.
The project underscores the band’s continued relevance in the rock scene and their commitment to celebrating the legacy of the genre through both recorded and live formats.
