Prime Video’s latest offering will have viewers on the edge of their seats as Bollywood star Kunal Kemmu takes the helm of a brand‑new daily reality show. The platform has announced that Alliance, the first international adaptation of Talpa Studios’ Dutch format created by John de Mol, will debut worldwide on 26 June 2026, with a fresh episode dropping at noon each day.

The premise is simple yet compelling: 16 contestants arrive in pairs, each pair a unit of strategy that must evolve as the game progresses. As alliances shift and partners change, the contestants must navigate daily challenges that test wit, willpower, and teamwork. The format culminates in a single winner after a series of eliminations, keeping viewers hooked from the first episode to the final.

Prime Video India’s director and head of Originals, Nikhil Madhok, said the platform is “thrilled to bring Alliance to audiences across the country” and highlighted the show’s unique blend of strategy and evolving gameplay. He added that the series will “create a truly immersive experience that will keep our audiences engaged every single day from start to end.”

The production is handled by Banijay Asia, the local arm of the global production group. Deepak Dhar, founder and group CEO of Banijay Asia, noted that the format’s “sheer scale” and “ambitious, cinematic” challenges attracted the company to the project. He described the game as “fast, unpredictable, and incredibly dynamic.” The Hindi‑language adaptation will be available in 240 countries and territories.

With Alliance, Prime Video becomes the first streaming service to launch a daily reality series on a global scale. The move follows the platform’s recent expansion of original unscripted content and aligns with its strategy to offer new formats that encourage daily engagement. The series is slated for a single season, with the winner receiving a prize and the chance to leave the competition.

The premiere on 26 June 2026 marks a significant addition to Prime Video’s lineup of original programming. The daily release schedule and international format adaptation are expected to attract viewers who are accustomed to binge‑watching but are also interested in the immediacy of daily content. Prime Video will continue to monitor audience reception and engagement metrics following the launch.

In related news, Prime Video also announced the premiere of Shahid Kapoor’s O Romeo on the same platform, further expanding its roster of original films and series.

Alliance is set to begin airing on 26 June 2026, with episodes scheduled to stream daily at noon. Viewers can expect a series that blends strategy, partnership dynamics, and daily challenges, all presented by Kunal Kemmu in his debut as a reality show host.
